Shohochor

What it does

• হিসাব — household finance. Income, expenses, wallets and money lent or borrowed, with a monthly summary.
• Bills. Electricity, gas, water, internet, rent and school fees, with the next due date worked out for you.
• Documents. NID, passport, birth certificate, licence and more — photographed, read in Bangla or English, and filed with their expiry dates.
• Reminders. One alert before a bill, a paper or a renewal falls due, rather than after.
• Vehicles. Tax token, fitness, insurance and licence dates, plus fuel and servicing history.
• Government services. Step-by-step guides to NID, passport, BRTA, TIN and land services, with the fees written down.
• Emergency numbers. 999, ambulance, fire, police and blood, nationwide and by district.
• স্বাস্থ্যসেবা — medicine reminders. Photograph a prescription, check what was read off it, and get reminded at each dose.

Signing in

You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with your Google account.

What we take from Google. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We keep only the email address, and only to identify your account — the name and picture are discarded, and nothing is written back to your Google account. Signing in with Google reaches the same Shohochor account as signing in with a code sent to the same address.

We never post anything on your behalf, and we do not sell or share your data. What we do collect, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.

Availability

Shohochor is an Android app, published as com.shohochor.top. It is currently in testing on Google Play and is not yet generally available.
